Although she tries not to show it.
Madison made her first trip to the Des Moines zoo to see if it held up the one she saw in Memphis.
Is getting close to a goat better than seeing pandas in Memphis from a distance? Heck yeah! (She either switched outfits, or I have this messed up. But let's go with it anyway.)
Although she might be getting tired by the time she got to the lions. Not sure.

Nope, guess not. Here Maddie points at the ostriches.

Then found the hippos equally fascinating.

And here she is at the Botanical Center.

Uncle Nate bought her these boots, which she insisted on wearing even during her nap.
She also seems to be into water.

And playing at the beach.

And wading fearlessly into the water (thankfully, Mom is not entirely about that and is following just to the right).
