Par-tay! Par-tay! In this case it's Madison's third birthday party at Recess in Ankeny.
Emma is obviously down with parties. Especially when slides are involved.
Madison definitely wanted her best friend Paiten to be there. And guess what? She WAAAAS! Cool!
It's best to go down slides feet first with great care..
Unless you want to have a bit more fun and excitement.
Much to the delight of Emma.

Madison and Paiten pause for just a moment while running as fast as they can from place to place..
There were airplanes.

And horses on merry-go-rounds.
It's a horserace. (Paiten ended up passing on the inside just before the ride was over. An amazing bit of horsewomanship.)

The sea was angry that day, my friend.

Madison makes a hard turn to port to avoid running over the cameraman.

Did somebody say "time to eat"?
Here is Madison's princess cake. Very cool, huh?

But first it was time for singing with the normal cake they Recess provided.
Got them all blown out.

The princesses are really, COOL!
So is Cherie's ... well, let's say "necklace."
All that running had one girl completely worn out at that point.
Yeah ... uh ... let's make that two girls.
Did somebody say presents? Second wind!
I think Madison liked what Paiten got her.
And pretty much everything, actually.
Uncle Nathan and Tami got her a keyboard that was quite a hit.
Drew quite a crowd actually.
Here's a video of Madison (and Emma, if you watch in the background) dancing to one of the standard songs in the keyboard.
Party is over. Looking cool and ready to go.
At home playing with presents.
Emma has the biggest smile ever.
And the cutes naps.
Big sister Madison helping put food in the vacinity of Emma's face.
Three very pretty Semrow ladies.
Madison "all that" in her new seat.
Finally, a little artwork from Madison to ponder.
